Forest Hill Village History/Milestones:

1860's, named after summer
home of John Wickson. Prior to incorporation, the area
is known as Spadina Heights.
•
Wickson's home stood
near what is now Eglinton Avenue and Old Forest Hill Road.
•
November 23rd, 1923 Incorporated
as a Village.
•
November 21, 1923, Village
Council holds first meeting.
•
1967, Forest Hill Village
amalgamates into the City of Toronto.
•
Forest Hill Village forms first Business
Improvement Area.
