Forest Hill Village History/Milestones:

1860's, named after summer home of John Wickson. Prior to incorporation, the area is known as Spadina Heights.
Wickson's home stood near what is now Eglinton Avenue and Old Forest Hill Road.
November 23rd, 1923 Incorporated as a Village.
November 21, 1923, Village Council holds first meeting.
1967, Forest Hill Village amalgamates into the City of Toronto.
Forest Hill Village forms first Business Improvement Area.
